The video game industry in Spain billed 1,530 million euros in 2018, 12.6% more than in 2017, which places it as the first audiovisual industry above cinema and recorded music.The video game industry has incredible growth potential for being a digital native and being prepared for the digital revolution, and it is also an industry with growth prospects to double billing.
Spain is ranked ninth in the top 10, led by China with 30,500 million euros and followed by the United States with 27,928 million counting on countries such as Japan, South Korea and Germany.
Of the total of 16.8 million players, 59% are men compared to 41% women. The number of players has been increasing compared to last year. And on average they spend about 6.2 hours a week on video games.
Now a days, the best-selling video game is GRAND THEFT AUTO V followed by RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 and FIFA 20
